I recently tried the Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in the shade Midtown Pink, and while the shade looks really pretty in the bullet, it didn’t turn out as expected on my lips. The color is a soft pink, but it doesn’t suit my skin tone well and tends to wash me out. The formula feels creamy and smooth during application, which is nice, but it’s definitely not transfer-proof — it comes off easily while eating or even talking for a while.
After some time, it also settles into the fine lines of my lips, making them look slightly dry and creased. The pigment is decent, but I wish it stayed on longer without smudging. Overall, it’s an okay lipstick if you like soft pinks for short wear, but not ideal if you’re looking for something long-lasting or transfer-resistant.
