My verdict & usage tips
Overall: A solid pick if your skin is oily/combo and acne-prone, especially for surface break-outs, blackheads/whiteheads, excess oil. But not a guarantee for all acne types – and you’ll want to treat it carefully to avoid overdoing it.
Usage suggestions:
Use 1 – 2 times a day (or start with once a day) depending on how your skin tolerates it.
Since you already apply a night serum with alpha arbutin (you told me you use alpha arbutin at night) – just make sure you’re not combining too many exfoliating or strong actives at the same time (to protect your skin barrier).
Follow with a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer to avoid dryness or barrier damage.
Always use sunscreen in the morning (you already do) since salicylic acid can increase sun sensitivity.
Patch-test first (especially since you haven’t got glowing results yet with your nightpply to a small area for a few days, check for redness/irritation.

Clearer Skin in Every Wash!
I’ve been using The Derma Co 2% Salicylic Acid Gel Face Wash and it has become a staple in my skincare routine. Here is why I highly recommend it:
Tackles Active Acne: The 2% Salicylic Acid is a powerhouse for deep cleaning pores and reducing the frequency of breakouts.
Gentle yet Effective: Even though it’s tough on acne, the gel formula feels gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or overly dry.
Great Ingredients: I love that it includes Witch Hazel and Willow Bark, which really help in soothing inflammation and controlling excess oil.
Clean Formula: It’s Fragrance-Free and Dermatologically Tested, making it a safe choice for sensitive, acne-prone skin.
If you’re struggling with oily skin or stubborn breakouts, this face wash is definitely worth the try!
