This BB cream is best suited for fair to medium skin tones, as it comes in very limited shades. It works well on normal to oily skin types, giving a slightly matte finish without making the face greasy. However, it may not be ideal for dry or acne-prone skin unless properly moisturized and patch-tested. It’s affordable, easily available, and perfect for beginners or students who want a no-fuss makeup look.

I tried Ponds BB Cream a few times and honestly—I kind of like it. It’s light but gives decent coverage, so it evens out my skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey. On days when I just want a fresh, quick look, this does the job: my skin looks smoother and more awake, but still like me (not like I’m wearing a mask).
It blends easily — a few dabs with my fingertips or a sponge, and it melts into the skin nicely. It doesn’t clog my pores or make my skin super oily, which I appreciate since I’m not a fan of heavy foundations. The finish is natural-matteish (not too shiny), and for daily wear it’s comfortable all day.
It’s not perfect. Coverage is moderate, so if you have major blemishes or dark spots, you might still need a concealer on top. And under harsh lighting, you can tell you’re wearing makeup — but not in a bad way. For everyday use or a simple fresh look, I’d say it’s a nice go-to BB cream
